These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WhatPay Wallet mobile application and related services ("WhatPay", "the App", "we", "us"). By creating a wallet or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
WhatPay is a self-custody (non-custodial) wallet. Your private key is generated on your device using multi-party computation (MPC) and is never held, assembled, or controlled by WhatPay. We cannot access, freeze, move, or recover your funds. You are solely responsible for your assets and for maintaining access to your wallet (your email, passkey/biometrics, and device).
WhatPay offers cross-device recovery using your email plus a passkey synced through your device platform (e.g., iCloud Keychain). This recovery depends on services you control. WhatPay does not store your full private key and cannot restore access on your behalf if you lose all recovery factors.
The App may let you interact with independent third-party services, including decentralized exchange aggregators and cross-chain bridges (for swaps and bridging), fiat on-ramp providers, blockchain networks, and third-party decentralized applications (dApps) via the in-app browser. These services are operated by third parties under their own terms. WhatPay does not control them, does not take custody of funds routed through them, and is not responsible for their availability, pricing, security, or outcomes. Every signature or transaction in the in-app browser requires your explicit on-device confirmation.
WhatPay is a software tool to hold and transfer crypto assets. We do not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in the App is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Crypto assets are volatile and you may lose value.
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, financing of terrorism, or any activity that violates applicable sanctions or laws in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App is legal where you are located.
Blockchain network fees (gas) are paid to the relevant network, not to WhatPay. Swaps and bridges may include third-party protocol fees and, where disclosed, a service fee. Applicable fees are shown before you confirm a transaction.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatPay and SelectVerse Capital Limited are not liable for any loss of assets, data, or profits arising from your use of the App, third-party services, blockchain networks, or your failure to secure your access factors.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to SelectVerse Capital Limited. Questions about these Terms: support@whatpay.com.
