We aim to respond within 1 business day. Please include your account email and a description of the issue (do not share your private key, passkey, or any secret — WhatPay staff will never ask for them).
WhatPay is a self-custody, multi-chain crypto wallet. Your private key is generated on your device with MPC and protected by Face ID. WhatPay never holds your funds.
No. You sign in with your email plus a passkey (Face ID / Touch ID). There is no 12-word seed phrase to write down. If you switch phones, you can restore your wallet with your email and passkey.
Sign in on a new device with the same email and passkey (synced via your device platform, e.g., iCloud Keychain) to restore access. Keep your email account and passkey secure — they are how you recover your wallet.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, Solana, Tron and other EVM networks. You can also add custom tokens and custom networks.
WhatPay routes your swap or cross-chain request to leading third-party decentralized aggregators and bridges to find a competitive route. WhatPay does not take custody of funds during a swap; you sign the transaction yourself with Face ID.
You pay the blockchain network fee (gas) for any transaction. Swaps and bridges may include third-party protocol fees and, where shown, a service fee. All applicable fees are displayed before you confirm.
Your key shares are stored in your device's hardware-backed secure storage (Secure Enclave / Keychain), and every transfer requires biometric confirmation. Because WhatPay is non-custodial, only you can move your funds — so protect your email, device, and passkey.
WhatPay hides unpriced tokens by default to filter spam airdrops. If a legitimate token is hidden, add it as a custom token (Assets → Add token) and it will appear.
